NZ first Olympic Marathon runner to place comes to Inglewood Town Hall

Barry and Heather Magee will be visiting to talk about their amazing story at the Inglewood Town Hall on the 20th April, 7 30pm. In the golden years of NZ athletics the names, Snell, Halberg, Baillie, Davies and Julian were household names. Along with these men Barry Magee who achieved glory status as the first runner to place in an Olympic marathon. Everyone welcome. Free entry (donation welcome) Supper provided.
