The Children's Best Performances can only be set or broken at Childrens Champs and they are allocated in the individual ages (Colgate grades).

This event is run yearly in conjunction with the Taranaki Secondary Schools Sports Association. It is held in Brooklands Park. There are three categories - Juniors (Years 7 and 8), Intermediate (years 9 and 10) and Seniors (Years 11, 12 and 13).
