Masters Athletics is World Wide with athletes competing in all countries Women & Men from age 35 to 90+ . Masters participate in 5 year age groups in Track & Field, Road & Cross Country events throughout New Zealand and overseas. Events held during the year include -
- Our own Northland Masters Track & Field Championships
- North Island Track & Field Championships
- South Island Track & Field Championships
- New Zealand Track & Field Championships
- Other Regional Track & Field Championships.
- TET Masters Games, 15th-18th March 2012,Taranaki
The World Masters Track & Field Championships are held every two years as are the Oceania Track & Field Championships These Championships are held in different countries each time.
